One Reply to “Battle of the Bands”

    1. I know that I read this series in elementary school, but all I really remember about it is that Gabriella sang "These Boots Were Made For Walking" in the Battle of the Bands.0 And at some point, there was a dance where Sharpay was dressed as Scarlett O'Hara, and Zeke recognized her costume and said, "Frankly, my dear, it is my favorite movie."

    2. >>> East High is putting on its first-ever Battle of the Bands! Troy and his basketball buddies are looking forward to living out their rock-star fantasies, and Sharpay has formed her very own girl group. So what do you think happen to Gabriella and Ryan? They've been left behind So, what happened in the end? Maybe Gab hav to take the stage without Troy by her side.

    4. East High is putting on its first-ever Battle of the Bands! Troy and his basketball buddies are looking forward to living out their rock-star fantasies, and Sharpay has formed her very own girl group. But while Troy and Sharpay prepare to step into the spotlight, Gabriella and Ryan are left in the shadows. Gabriella keeps herself busy by tutoring Ryan, who needs help with algebra. Still, she can't help wondering why Troy wouldn't want to join forces with her for the Battle of the Bands. Didn't t [...]

    5. I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I loved this book. Maybe a little bit less than other books that I have given four stars too but that doesn't matter. This book was light, funny and utterly enjoyable. I loved the whole concept of the plot and the recognisable characters which made it come to life. This book made me laugh, made me feel sympathy for some of the characters and it made me smile. That's what I call a good book even though it does sound cheesy when I say it, since I'm not a big [...]

    6. It is an interesting book,as it has quarrels, confusions and lots of misunderstandings between them.It took place in East High.Principal Matsui organized the first battle of the bands.Troy and his basketball buddies are looking forward to living out their rock-star fantasies, and Sharpay has formed her very own girl group. But while Troy and Sharpay prepare to step into the spotlight,Gabriella and Ryan are left in the shadows.Gabriella keeps herself busy by tutoring Ryan, but she can,t help wonderin [...]

    7. since my finals are a week from now, I didnt want to read books that would compel me to think. I didnt want to imagine characters and setting from stratch under stress of studies. so I picked this up for a quick, easy read.I dived into this book partly expecting it to be like the previous book that I read (poetry in motion). and it kind of was. but not a teensy bit disappointing. it was extremely predictable but I'll live with that. I have fonder memories of d movies and it was nothing but a tre [...]

    8. I liked this book because of all the drama in this book. How Troy, and sharpy stoped thinking of the person that they always talked to . I like it when Garbrila went on stage an song a 60's song. Sharpy made a girls group and the song a 60's song to.In this story Garbrila turtored Rayn .

    9. in m opinion I think that sharpie was very mean and spoiled and mean to other but I think that the reason she was mean and did everything she did was because she wanted to take Troy away from Gabriella and I think that was a very cruel thing to do it was NOT NICE!!

    10. I read this years ago when I was a huge fan of the High School Musical movies - a great book for any fans

    11. I was curious to see what these little books were like; the movies being so fun. It was pretty disappointing. The book was dumb. Oh well, it only took me like 20 minutes to read.
