    1. Great series! emotional, thought provoking storyline, amazing characters and writing (paperback!)

    2. OK first of all I will like to say is this book is RAW. So for you sensitive people read carefully. It tells the story of a girl whose mother has been shot by a jealousy lover and a father who was the Pimp, that has been sent to jail for her death. She is placed in foster care at the age of 6 and becomes very close to another young lady the same age because they are being rapped by the foster mothers 16 year old son EVERY night until they are 12 when he brutally beats and tries to rape the frien [...]

    3. Although the name Ashley Antoinette may not ring a quick bell for some, if you throw JaQuavis in the mix, you will understand that the two have made up some of the best street lit fiction to hit the shelves. With The Prada Plan we welcome Ashley’s solo debut. At the tender age of 6 Disaya, better known as Yaya handily learns the quality of couture and the importance of having a plan in life, a Prada Plan. Disaster strikes Yaya’s world when both parents are eliminated, and is suddenly forced [...]

    4. Fantastic series! emotional, thought provoking storyline, amazing characters and writinghighly recommend (paperback!)

    5. This book was amazing! I've only read one other book by Ashley Antoinette but she didn't disappoint me in either book! I can honestly say that this is now one of my many favorite urban lit books. The main character, Yaya, was born into the street life. She had a mother for a whore and a daddy for a pimp. Despite losing her parents at a young age, Yaya was able to provide for herself, find love, and ultimately change for the better. Unfortunately for her, drama still found a way to follow her. Thi [...]

    6. This book is VERY well written. I have to admit that I am a little shocked and pleasantly surprised that Ashley Antoinette did so well without JaQuavis Coleman. I am so proud of her. You go girl! Haha. This book is definitely FIVE STARS. The only complaints I have about this book is that there are a few inconsistencies that contradict each other in the first half of the book and also that the book is a little slow in some places. She was VERY detailed and really stretched this book out which I c [...]

    7. I could bash this, but it was actually really interesting reading something with a target audience so far outside my demographic.

    8. THIS BOOK SUCKS!!!!!!! BY FAR THE MOST SUCKIEST BOOK I'VE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO COME ACROSS. READING THIS TELLS ME THAT MS. ANTOINETTE HAS NO TALENT WHATSOEVER.IF ANYONE HAS A PROBLEM WITH MY FEELINGS TOWARDS THIS BOOK THEY CAN KISS MY ASS. OH, AND HAVE A GREAT DAY! :)Okay- here goes. I'm extremely dissappointed in this book, Ashley's writing, the plot, the characters, pretty much everything included in this debut. Of course this is the first book in a series- that was a must given the ser [...]

    9. Really good book, I listened on audio and it really pulled me in! I was rooting for YaYa the whole way through and praying for Leah's demise. Leah showed she was a cold hearted, unfeeling, deceitful person over an over again. I just can't imagine all that evilness stemmed from obsession and rejection. I definitely have to pick up part 2 and see what more havoc Leah can wreak and how things play out with YaYa and Indy. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good urban lit book with st [...]

    10. Synopsis-This is a book about a girl named Disaya who takes a struggle all her life. When she was 6 her mom was killed by another prostitute and her dad was accused of the murder and sent to jail. She goes to a foster home and meets a friend. They both end up getting raped and escape.Once they grow up they start to be prostitutes just to survive. She meets somebody that changes her life and makes her want to quit. Classification-This would fit an audiance of teens, or young adults. Some things t [...]

    11. Although YaYa parents lifestyle was not the best I'm sure it would've turned out better then not having them in her life. YaYa and Mona endured so much pain and abuse which caused a spiral of downfalls throughout their life. Everyone desires a chance to make their wrongs , right . Yaya's moment came in Vegas when Indie gave her the courage to change for the better she should've left the game at that very moment. Leah is scorned and possessive , what happened in Leah's life to cause her to be so [...]

    12. WowI'm glad iDidn't read this book when it first came out because iWoulda been too pissed if iHad to wait on the Part 2. The book was great! Filled with drama on pretty much every page. iHave a few suggestion for the actual medical things that goes on in the book, but that could be because iWork in that field. Overall, great book!

    13. I read this book from start to finish in less than 24 hours. I couldn't put it down. If you aren't hop to Ashley & Jaquavis, what are you waiting for? Ashley did her thing with her first solo novel. I can't wait for The Prada Plan 2

    14. DNF. Couldn't relate to subject matter. No judgments --just not interested in pimps and hos. Foolishly thought the story arc was more about rags to riches, revenge and redemption, especially after such a stark beginning with foster care and sexual abuse.

    15. WOW is all I can say Leah that bitch is crazy I can 't wait to read part two. The prada plan is a must read

    16. This book was amazing. Not one boring part in the book. An absolute page-turner. Not that realistic, but still an amazing book!

    17. I know I am late to the game I only just recently brought the series and I must say after reading Book 1 and I am sorry that I have not picked this book up sooner! First off let me say that I am sorry that Mona had to go and the way she had to go that really hurt me! Next, that good for nothing Leah need to get hers and with the quickness! I have faith in YaYa that she will dish out that serving that only a woman can serve! If you can not tell by the few words that I have written, I will be gi [...]

    18. This book is a page turner. I first listened to the book via audible, after binge listening to the entire thing I went out to buy a copy, cause as avid readers know there is nothing better than actually turning the page of a book. I have read this book atleast 4 times!!! One of my favorite series !!!! Yaya's character did annoy me at some points, but Indie omg !!! His character leaves a bitter sweet taste in your mouth, but who can resist the Thug in armor ?!

    19. Ashley Antoinette is talented at developing plots and utilizing twists and turns in a way that is unexpected. I'm usually able to predict the way a book will end, but not with this one. She did a good job of keeping the reader engaged and delivering a story that is opposite of the Cinderella complex. Job well done.

    20. Fantastic read!! I loved the Prada Plan, so much drama and deep characters. I loved the flow of the writing style and I was hooked. Even when I wanted to put the book down I could not. I cannot wait to get home and get the second book.

    21. The child molestation was very disturbing however, other than that I thought it was good reading.

    22. Do yourself a favor: don't read this book. Come to me and have me dramatically retell the plot instead.

    23. I lost sleep over this book! I really enjoyed the series. I went back and forward from team Yaya to team Leah.
