    1. Sharron Riddle's Fate of the Fallen appealed to me from the moment I heard about it and the book is every bit as great a read as I anticipated! Which is why I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have won an ebook version in an international giveaway hosted by Mel's world. Fallen angels, demons and vampires are an intoxicating mix, especially when mixed with murders and a kidnapping. Eva is the immortal daughter of a fallen angel and hunts demons. She is sent to Chicago with her older brother [...]

    2. Eva returns to her office at The Demon Management Agency ~ a government agency who pays to keep the demon's quite ~ after a rough case. In going through the new cases on her desk, separating them to human or immortal to deal with each case based on if a hoax or real, she comes across one where a full demon is killing young half-Nephilim children looking for "the Key." Knowing this could trigger an ugly war between Demons and Fallen Angels (who have been waiting for a reason to attack Demons) on [...]

This book basically follows a family of brothers and sisters who were born from a Fallen Angel and a Goddess. This book mixes religion/mythology together, but does it in a manner that is enjoyable and doesn't feel contrived. Even though the book follows the family, the books main character is Eva. And boy is Eva a fun character to follow [...]

    4. Very good, especially for a first book. Definitely a different take on the whole fallen angel, war between heaven and hell themes. If you are looking for a lot of steamy sex, you will not be getting it here. Yes, there are vampires, fallen angels, demons, hellhounds and more. A lot of very well done fight scenes. Even the main demon characters are complex and manage to evoke some sympathy. Not in sympathy for the devil, drag you to hell kind of way, but in a very humanistic way. Betrayals and reb [...]

    5. Refreshingly intelligent writing with surprising depth in a young adult paranormal!Read full review in the 2012 May/June issue of InD’tale Magazine.

    6. A good urban fantasy novel, with interesting world-building, including a very different aetiology of vampires. The main character was a kick-ass heroine but, unfortunately, with a solid dose of TSTL on the side, and is the main reason I didn't rate this higher. Given her supposed abilities, some of her actions had me puzzled. I also noticed a few small discrepancies with one character, which, while not really throwing me out of the story, did niggle in the back of my mind. I thinks this story co [...]
