    1. What initially drew me to this book was the cover. It reminded me of Austin Powers and I love all those movies. Sure the plot was a little on the outlandish side, there was the womanizing agent, his spurned female partner and the uncle who had an answer for everything. But that is where the similarities end between my favorite spy comedy and this book.Adriana Kent and Flint Morgan are undercover agents (and partners) for the Department of National Security. They also used to live together. That [...]

    2. Adriana and Flint are partners working undercover for the Department of National Security it's a partnership that's a bit strained at the moment. They had been closer than partners, actually, until Adriana found Flint in bed with Lindsay. Ryan Hartford's a bad guy they want to take down, but things are quickly going to hell. what with Flint's being framed for murder and Adriana's been kidnapped.Flint and Adriana are both desperately in love, and will do anything to protect themselves from a brok [...]

    3. My thoughts:Her Man Flint is well-written, entertaining, easy to read and hard to put down. It has an intriguing plot and characters that you can invest in. Flint is that man we all look for, but aren't sure we really want to find. Flint and Adriana's "relationship" is challenging because they are both either too proud or too stubborn to admit that they want to be together. The author has also created bad guys that you truly love to hate. This story takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of e [...]

    4. I was so excited to download this title by Ms. Drennen because it sounded like a nice break from what I've been reading a lot of lately - serial killers, Mexican drug cartel non-fiction, etc. You know, great material to read right before going to bed. I still like that types of reading, but I needed a break from all that darkness, and let me tell you, Her Man Flint was just what the doctor ordered! The writing was funny, the characters were delightful, the motivations were realistic, and I read [...]

    5. First I was drawn in my the awesome cover and then when I read the blurb and discovered there was a kick-ass heroineI was all about reading this book. Unfortunately for me it took awhile to get off my tbr pile and into my reading zone, but once I started I couldn't stop. Again, unfortunate for me, I kept getting interrupted by life. This book was fun, fast paced, humorous and action packed. Loved the characters and the entire storyline. A wonderful read to sink into and get out of life's realiti [...]

    6. 2.5 starsThere are a lot of elements of this book that draw the reader in but overall, it's very uneven. There is a lot of fighting and nonsense between the 2 main characters, Flint and Adriana; I understand that's supposed to be part of the charm of the book, but it started to grate on my nerves. It's so obvious that these two are in love, but neither one can really talk to the other. There's a lot of action and a little mystery. Problem is, the mystery just doesn't really have time to "set" in- [...]

    7. good thing this book was free, since the minute i finished it, and that was a bit of a chore, i deleted it. ian fleming writing about james bond--NOT! i found the writing somewhat sophomoric, the characters less than endearing, and the editing wasn't the best either. chock full of cliches to boot.

    8. This book actually started out fairly well, but the last 3rd or so just became ridiculous and totally snapped the boundaries of my ability to suspend disbelief.

    9. I enjoyed this book up until the author decided to dumb down Adriana. I'm rating this book a 4 because I can't do a 3.5.
