    1. Cute Kindle freebie (thanks, author). It's a quickie e-book, not very detailed or anything, but I did see a few cakes I would try. I don't like that there are so many processed ingredients to make these cakes, but I guess if you're looking for a quick sugar fix, these would fit the bill. I do tend to eat healthier than the recipes in this book, but have to remind myself that IT'S CAKE - it's not SUPPOSED to be healthy. :-)That said.I'm gunning for you, Oreo Refrigerator Cake.

    2. These all look very fast and yummy. I also appreciate that the author took the time to tell you how to ligthen them up if you so desire. The only negative I saw was cost. Some of the recipes use and entire box of vanilla wafers, oreos or graham crackers. Those alone cost $4.00 so the whole cake would cost you around $10 - I could buy a large cake from the local italian bakery for that. All depends on what you're looking for taste wise.

    3. This was a free Kindle book. Only given it 3 stars so far as I have not tried any of the recipes yet, but plan on doing so soon. A lot of the recipes have bananas in it, which only half the members of my household eat, so hopefully I can find something else to try.

    4. Excellent book to have in your cookbook collection. Read through each of the recipes and they all sound delicious and quick and easy. Look forward to trying them all.

    6. One of my friends was talking about making cakes that did not require baking; instead they were combined and refrigerated ahead of when you need them. We do some camping and being able to put a pre-made refrigerator cake in our camper would be a great way to take a ready made desert. We are trying a few from Lori Burke's 30 Delicious Refrigerator Cake Recipes and so far our favorite is Raspberry Icebox Cake and Lemon Snap Refrigerator Cake. These are easy and fun to make and each one has been gr [...]

    7. It is an okay cookNothing exciting. Nothing to write home about. Just an okay little cookbook. One will not likely win a local cake contest using this book but one may enjoy the results anyway.

    8. Its a nice collection, but too much "processed" ingredients. Will try to make the ones that don't fall in this category.

    9. So previous to this book, I didn't know what a refrigerator cake was. Now I do. That's exciting, and I think some of these recipes do, in fact, sound delicious. As a vegetarian, at least half the recipes in the book are not good options for me as many of these rely on gelatin. Although the author gives some substitution recommendations for other ingredients people may be avoiding, gelatin seems to be rather essential in many of the recipes.Nevertheless, I plan on making a Holy Cannoli cake soon. 10. a lot of the recipes have banana and almost all of the recipes contain cream and I can't eat either one so sadly this book didn't have much that I can try. I may be good for other people but for me it isn't useful. some do sound like they would be good if you don't have allergies/intolerance issues.

    11. Fantastic recipesFantastic recipesI'll admit that I haven't made them all yet but for the ones that I have made they really deserve the five star rating. if you were served these you would think they came from a restaurant. they're also visually appealing as well. so get it and have some fun in the kitchen.

    12. Great Old Time Desserts!Hard to find recipes that are still good to serve groups. Also good for kids to help in the kitchen. Summer treats since they are refrigerated.

    13. It's okay for a Kindle freebie and had a few recipes I might try. Worth a look if you're new to this kind of thing.

    14. Well writtenI have not tried the recipe s yet but many look great and the instructions look easy to follow. Looking forward to trying
