    1. Favorite Lines: “Ariana, I’ve done things I’m not proud of. I’ve tried resisting the urges, but I’ve never made it long. In fact, resisting them seems to make things worse. I’ve blocked out and woken up in pools of blood, unsure where I am or what I’ve done.” (p. 203, e-galley)I’ve been enjoying Kristin Miller‘s Vampires of Crimson Bay series and couldn’t wait to read book three, Last Vamp Standing. In the previous book, Vamped Up, we got to know a little bit about Dante. E [...]

    2. Last Vamp Standing picks up immediately after Vamped Up ends. Savage is still annihilating every haven he finds in an attempt to absorb as many mawares that he can. The vamps of Crimson Bay have found out about a hidden haven, Black Moon. It has always been a hidden sanctuary for elders only. Now the havenless vampires need a place to hide from Savage and the hidden elders are going to need help in defending themselves from Savage. Joining forces would make sense, but nothing is ever that simple [...]

    3. YAY!! I'M DONE!! I do not recommend this book to anyone. About 85% of the way through the book it finally gets on with the story that was started 2 books before. Even then it's only a few pages long. The rest of the book is all about how he likes her and she likes him and they really want to hit the bedroom but it of course takes them forever! It's basically an entire book of filler, filler, filler. She should have just ended this series in the 2nd book and had a duo instead of trying to make a [...]

    4. Last Vamp Standing was a fast-paced, smoking hot page turner, and a great end to a fantastic series.Dante, the male lead, is deliciously tortured, and I fell for him almost immediately. I'm going to quote Meredith Grey from one of my fav T.V. shows, Grey's Anatomy, and say that he's "dark and twisty", and man do I love that about him. Dante's inner demons play a pivotal role in his relationship with the female lead, Ariana, as well as with the plot itself. Good stuff!Much like the previous two b [...]

    5. It took me awhile to get into this book, but I think that's just because I'm an idiot and picked up yet another book in the middle of a series. Oops. All of that aside, it was pretty good.I had some issues with some of the names though. The big baddie was named Savage. Let's face it, with that name, he wasn't going to be a good guy The main male character was Dante, which I'm becoming to think is slightly overused in things where the supernatural is involved. And there was a Dylan, which took me [...]
