    1. This is a good explanation of how the Gospel is actually news (something surprising, that you wouldn't normally expect in the ordinary world) and how it is good (how it can change your life). The author beautifully defines forgiveness and provided me a new way of thinking about it. It is especially helpful for those who are wondering how to be free from anger, bitterness, or resentment. The first five chapters were the most applicable for me; chapter five is exceptional.

    2. I just reread this and remembered why it's one of my favorites. I would recommend it to anyone.
