Saxon does it again in book 2 of her Highland SeriesThis book is a continuation from book 1 but the romance is revolved around Bao and Jesslyn who were introduced in Highland Vengeance Book 1. I must also add that Daniel and Maryn from book 1 also play a huge part of this story as do all the other characters from book 1. The book's flow together nicely and I love that all the character [...]

    2. This was Bao and Jesslyn's story, and I loved loved loved it! This book like the first one is about family, love, acceptance, brutality, torture, and moving from surviving to thriving. I love these characters, they all seemed real to me, very well written. I loved Bao, he had been through hell and is trying to find his way. He is ashamed of his past and is tortured with emotional demons. Jesslyn is still trying to get over the death of her husband and she is forced to marry Bao because they did [...]

    3. After reading the first two books in this medieval / highlands trilogy I have drawn two conclusions.1. This is a book about life. Life is an amazing gift with sometimes unbearable burdens. But that's how life works: you push through, you survive and ultimately, if you manage to conquer your fears, you flourish. I loved that the characters didn't dwell in the past and didn't let any miscommunications continue indefinetely. They faced everything as it came, like real people and the book didn't end [...]

    4. Bao and Jesslyn are perfect together. To find love after so much baggage and and heartache. I cried at the end. I can't wait for HIGHLAND MAGIC, to see what you have in store. Preview whets my appetite really good.

    5. What a rideIf you like romance novels that have unexpected twists and turns, then this book is for you. I enjoyed the unexpected plot twists, and I have read many romance novels. Usually I can predict the outcome but not this time.

    6. Loved it! There are a few times when it seems to move a bit too fast, but over all, it is very well written and I couldn't put it down!

    7. Awesome readBeautiful story of finding true love and how it can overcome the worst of trials past or present. Full of steamy passion and villains. Loved Boa's character,
