    1. I re-read Mitro Marjani a few days ago and fell in love with it all over again. It is a classic and will live forever. This time round, I noticed what a taut story it was. I loved the way it was told.     2. Trigger warning for survivors of CSA. Not an easy read. Firstly because of the abuse that it deals with and secondly because of the narrative style. You cannot just read it through. It seems weird to say but just like Nirmal Verma's books, you may not want to read it in winters. Very few Indian books have written about child sexual abuse and in this direct and unapologetic way. A highly recommended book If Hindi is not your primary language, the English translation serves well.
