    1. Peter Marak has allowed fear and loss to take over his life and push his faith aside. He's cut himself off from the world to preserve his life but is the life he's created worth preserving? How far will Peter go to save someone else and ultimately save himself? In this short tale, Setzer creates a compelling character in Peter Marak.     2. I had the privilege of publishing this story at Fear and Trembling - but that should say something, right? I enjoyed "The Siege of Peter Marak" when I first read it and now that it's available here, I'm glad it originally appeared in F&T. "Siege" is the right word!
