    1. A fast-paced and intense read; hard to put down. At one point, I put a pan of water on the stove to make Ramen noodles for my son, then went off to read this book for 5 minutes while it heated up. The next thing I knew, two thirds of it had boiled away. Oops. Always a sign of a good book, right? Broken Crowns is an interesting mix of murder mystery, suspense, international travel and history – with a touch of romance and a magical twist.     2. I had to read this book in two sittings because of my schedule. I put it down with great reluctance after starting it, and when I came back to it later, read the rest of it non-stop until late into the night. I felt the tension and suspense the whole way through, but particularly toward the end. If you like mystery, suspense, and Christian values, I recommend it!

    3. Fast paced. Seemed like non stop action. I found it a little hard to get into at first, but it got better and better the further I read.

    4. Christian suspense with a little bit of light romance. This is a great light read. It's a page-turner with lots of action and some unexpected twists.
