    1. Short and to the point, author Steve Volk gives an excellent picture of the enigmatic Dr. Jeffrey Schwartz who, against all odds, showed that the brain and the mind are not the same thing, and that the brain can be altered by intentional thinking. Begun with studies of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Schwartz's techniques include the use of Mindful Meditation. It's a remarkable book about an unusual and remarkable man who wouldn't give up until he succeeded.

    2. learned about this ebook in discovery mag. jewish guy becomes budhist & then christian believer. Professor at UCLA - studied OCD patients and neural rewiring to improve their symptoms. Possible sufferer himself. Professional criticism due to christian beliefs, belief in intelligent deesign and abrasive personality. Interesting in light of Andrew's OCD diagnosis. Difficult to see Andrew performing discipline work necesary to see these types of changes.

    3. Incredible . The man is a tour de force . It ends with a touching description of Schwartz's conversion .

    4. Really enjoyed this single. I've read it twice. I'm working on a piece for OMNI Reboot about it now.
