    1. Home For Christmas by Melissa McClone is book #2 in the Copper Mountain Christmas series. I am a warm weather girl and have been for all of my adult life. My blood is probably as thin as water. But Melissa McClone and the Bar V5 ranch in Marietta, Montana make me yearn for snow and horses and cattle and those oh so handsome Montana Cowboys.Rachel Murphy and her brother Ty lost their parents when Rachel was just a little girl. So Ty raised her. Rachel is twenty-six now but Ty still sees her as hi [...]

    2. Rachel has been hurt, betrayed and had her dreams ripped right out from under her. Longing for home and family, she heads to Montana to spend Christmas with her brother, Ty. Determined to keep her dreams of owning her own bakery alive, she sets out to make customized gingerbread houses to sell all over town. Hopefully she can earn enough money over the holidays for a new lease deposit. But if she's going to do this, she needs a bigger kitchen than the one in her brother's apartment. Enter Nate, [...]

    3. The story of Rachel and Nate brought me in from the first page. The bond of brother/ sister between Ty and Rachel are very strong. Ty is very protective Of Rachel, due to her past mistakes, will not let anyone hurt including Nate. This is true story of Christmas in Montana. Gingerbread cookies, mistletoe, plenty of snow and hopefully love for Rachel. I highly recommend this story to get you in the mood for the upcoming holiday season.

    4. Home for Christmas by Melissa McClone is a lovely sweet and clean holiday romance. It’s perfect for curling up with in an easy chair with a cup of hot chocolate. This is the first book in the author’s Bar V5 Dude Ranch series and the second book in her Copper Mountain Christmas series. It works perfectly well as a stand-alone read with a self-contained romance and plot line. This is the story of venture capitalist and dude ranch owner Nate Vaughn and pastry chef Rachel Murphy.Rachel’s brot [...]

    5. I liked the Montana parts! But the characters and their internal dialogue felt like something out of a bad romance novel (despite this being a pretty clean read).

    6. Clean romance, nothing beyond kissing and vaguely roving hands. I can't even remember any curse words but I can't promise there aren't any. This book has a style of romance that isn't my thing. It's dual POV so there are pages of thoughts by both the h and H about the other person, be it descriptions of how they look, thoughts about wanting more or whatever. This is followed by pages of why they must not act on these thoughts. All through the book this constant push and pull dynamic occurs. It is [...]

    7. This was a fun read! All the details of the gingerbread houses made me hungry but all their inner turmoil, trying to stay away from their budding romance, filled me up!This was a new author to me and I enjoyed the audio version very much!

    8. Reviewed at Heart Full of ChristmasWelcome to a Christmas celebration in Marietta, Montana a small town that’s lively, down home and where anything romantic is certainly possible. Although Rachel could care less about that romantic part. She’s recently been crushed by the actions of so-called friends, and her belief in the actions of the human race have hit an all time low. It’s real easy to feel that way when all your dreams have been stolen from you – and we’re not talking figurative [...]

    9. Rating 3.5 starsI always enjoy sweet Christmas stories during the holidays and start reading them in early October. This is a sweet love story, but a bit too vanilla for me. The beginning started out exceedingly well and drew me in, but then I grew slightly frustrated with Rachel and Nate. I had a difficult time because both of them had a very hard time making up their minds. Rachel comes to Montana to visit her brother, Ty and to lick her wounds. Her dreams of owning her own bakery are shattere [...]

    10. The snow was beautiful, but being dressed in a parka, hat and gloves was something that Rachel wasn’t used to. Born and raised in Arizona, Rachel was used to warmer weather. However, she agreed to spend this Christmas in Montana with her brother, Ty. Rachel has had a rough few months and could use a getaway. Trained in culinary arts, Rachel embarked on a business with a couple who she thought were her friends. It turned out that they were just out to take advantage of her. Rachel has since dev [...]

    11. This is the sweet Christmas romance of Rachel and Nate. Rachel's been burned by business partners, romance, but not in the kitchen. She can bake like nobody's business, and she puts all of her focus on making money to start fresh. Spending Christmas with her brother in Montana is a contrast to her life in AZ, and making gingerbread houses becomes a great way to earn seed money for a new bakery in AZ. Spending time with Nate is fun, but she has no intention in staying in Montana forever. Nate kee [...]

She needs some time to recover from a betrayal of her ex-partners, who stole her budding bakery business out from under her. 21. Wholesome and sexy at the same timeI wasn't sure if I would like this book but it certainly grew on me. 22. This was a sweet story about Nate and Rachel. Rachel's life is turned upside down, so she goes to visit her brother in Montana. Her brother's boss/business partner, Nate, is HOT! Rachel has sworn herself off of romance and is only interested in opening her own bakery. Nate tries to help Rachel and realizes he is messing things up so he finally talks to Rachel's brother so see how to fix things and make Rachel happy!

    23. Nate Vaughn & Rachel MurphyNate has fallen for his best friend and foreman's sister and wants her to stay. Can he convince her? Rachel wants her own business but doesn't want to stay in Marietta. Somehow Nate has been indispensable to her and her gingerbread business. can she trust him? a very cute holiday story and a nice introduction to Marietta, MT.

    24. Wonderful, festive descriptions and a delight to read. Builds a lot of tension between the characters, but I hoped there would be more release. Ending was sweet but felt cut short. Love the voice, just missing some of the "good parts" in my opinion. Still worth the price. Reread it once already!

    25. ExcellentI loved everything about this book--the writing, the characters, the story, the editing, and being a Montana girl, I especially loved the setting. I recommend this book.

    26. I read this as part of The Cowboys of Copper Mountain : A Christmas Collection. I loved all the stories but wished they were longer. Nice romances in Marietta Montana.
