    2. Like the other books, the writing isn't all that great. It's a fun story and my kids really like it. I was surprised how much action wasn't in it. Someone REALLY needs to get the editor or author a thesaurus with the synonyms for "said" bookmarked and highlighted. Even by occasionally switching "(name) said" to "said (name)" would help tremendously. If someone asks a question, the customary thing to do is to say "asked" or the like, not "said." It's so irritating, it almost makes my head want to [...]

    3. Loved this one! This one might be my favorite. This is my fourth book have read this month! I feel sorry for those of u who had to wait for the fifth installment because that ending. That ending man! I can't believe Evans would do that!!(:

    4. Loved the image of escaping through a fish tunnel. This makes sense when you read the book. Really cool to see into the mind of the Jade Dragon. Also like the way she's able to communicate her thoughts. Gorgeous cover too!

    5. Best book ever i wish it didn't have to end it was amazing when I finished i wanted to throw it across the room because it left me hanging i can't wait till the 5th one comes out!!!

    6. I haven't read the first 3 books since 5th grade so at first I was a little confused on who everyone was but later in I figured it out, the writing wasn't as good as it seemed to me in 5th grade but the book was really intresting and its kind of like percy jackson books.

    7. Recommended for: Ages 11 to AdultRating: PG (mild romance and action violence)My sisters and I almost never buy books new. I mean, it's an occurrence so rare it's practically nonexistent. But after getting Michael Vey 1: The Prisoner of Cell 25 from the library, we have bought every Michael Vey book as they are released. I wish I didn't have to wait until next year for book 5.Writing: 4/5The Michael Vey books are primarily written in 1st person, though there are usually 3rd person sections about [...]

    8. I received a free copy of the audio book for review. I have listened to this whole series on audio book and have come to really enjoy them. I was really looking forwarding to the new edition to the series but felt that this one fell short from what the other books have been. There is not as much to the adventure even though they travel to Taiwan it felt to me that there was just a lot of standing around and waiting. The group did not want to be seen as to let Hatch know they were close so they s [...]

    9. I CANNOT WAIT TO READ THIS BOOK!!! I read the previous 2 in a day each, as soon as I could get my hands on them. I have been waiting since Christmas for this book!!!!

    10. This book had a very interesting plot because the Electroclan had to go to Taiwan to save a girl called Jade Dragon. Will they survive? Or will they all die in the process?

    11. I loved this book, finished it in a day (can't seem to change the date thingy). However, something I found extremely annoying was that phrases seemed to repeat themselves after a few sentences. It got so annoying that I began fantasizing how I would smack the editor around. I mean, come one! You had one job! On another note, can't wait for the next book, here's hoping it'll be better edited

    12. This book has yet again not disappointed! First the school, then the Peruvian plant, than sank the ampere and now a rescue mission against the biggest plant yet?! This book had a game changing incident every couple of chapters and it kept me on my toes. Once again story is left on a cliffhanger and I am eager to see where my team of electroclan is going to do next. Where it already looks like a huge tragedy has taken place, what will they do? How will they do it?

    13. I overall liked this book. It was filled with action, strategy, and emotion. I read this entire book in less than a day and am very invested in the story. I love learning the new powers, for example, Michael learned to deflect bullets by pulsing his electricity. It had a very nice hook in the end and made me want to know more. I am halfway through the fifth book and am enjoying every page.

    14. It was a good book. They saved a girl named Jade dragon from the Elgen. And she knows a lot so they just saved the world from Elgen.

    15. Hunt for Jade Dragon is the fourth book in the awesome Michael Vey series, and fans of the first three books will definitely not be disappointed in this latest installment. However, I would caution that there seems to be a major shift in focus in this book as compared to the others. The first three books are totally focused on ACTION ACTION ACTION. A group of about ten teens, who all have super electric powers, have banded together to fight the evil Elgen corporation. The Elgen corporation, led b [...]

    16. The most annoying thing about the 4th Michael Vey book is that I really enjoyed the 1st two books and the 4th book is disappointing by comparison. A book series is supposed to go up in storytelling not down. When I look back at the 1st two novels in the series, they really weren’t great pieces of literature, but they were fun and interesting, something that Jade Dragon is not. The big reveal in this book is that it is the 4th out of 7 books. I’m not sure how the author will stretch it out 3 [...]

    17. From the United States, to Peru, and all the way to Taiwan the Electroclan went around and saved the day. The book Michael Vey #5 by Richard Paul Evans is a science fiction book that is based in the future. I read this book because I have read other books By R. Evans like the other books in the Michael Vey series. It always has the excitement that I like in books but not too much to where it doesn’t make since. Starting in the United States the Electroclan has done many difficult tasks, one b [...]

    18. The first book I read this quarter was Michael Vey Hunt For Jade Dragon. The author of this book is Richard Paul Evans. The hook on this book is how in the beginning it talks about who Jade Dragon is why they are saving her, and where they need to go to get her. The main reason I read this book is because I’ve read all the books before it and I find them very interesting and definitely one of my favorite book series. This book was about Michael Vey trying to stop the Elgen of course that’s [...]

    19. Michael Vey is an amazing book. In this book Michael and the rest of the electro clan go to save a young girl who is deaf, mute and has autism. The Elgen have kidnapped her because she has figured out how to create more electric children, but the Elgen have no idea how to get the information out of her. They leave to go to the Taiwan Starxource compound because that is where Jade Dragon is being held. The compound is huge and very strong will the Electro clan survive other run in with the Elgen [...]

    20. This is the 4th book of the Michael Vey series and it kept me on the edge of my seat. After receiving word about a young child prodigy going missing, the group of "mutant" teenagers come together and decide it is best that they save Jade Dragon from their enemy. However, the Electroclan can't save Jade without the help of Nichelle, who once worked Hatch, but had abandoned her. Due to this, Nichelle agrees to help the group with money and revenge. The group them travels to Taiwan and gets aboard [...]

    21. Electricity pounding through you--a rush of power. Michael Vey is the "leader" of the "electroclan" of kids resulting from an accident when they were infants. Due to an experimental device these kids--the survivors--gained electric powers, of which a man by the name of Hatch seeks to use to control the world. Some of these kids--mainly forced--follow Hatch and his goal. Living in secrecy with not only their only lives on the line, but also their families. As Hatch gets closer and closer to achie [...]

    22. 4.5Re-reading the first three books in this series helped a lot with me relearning the characters, world, and plot. Glad I didn't jump the gun with this book. WOO, did this book go from 0 to 100!Not that the other books lacked excitement, but since the first three were re-reads, I had that memory come back and say "Oh, this is where so and so meets this person." or "Oh, this happens to Michael at this place.", yada-yada, and this book being new territory, I was surprised with how fast the story [...]
