    1. 2.5 - Cheap talk and loose women are permitted in this establishment. Stars. It always saddens me to write a review for a book that I had high expectations for. The synopsys for Rough and Tumble offers the reader a down and dirty saloon where all sorts of lethally charming—and genuinely dangerous—men carouse to seduce the women who happen to venture inside on their way to and from Sin City. Unfortunately, I found it more Days of our Lives than Sons of Anarchy, the over the top girly chat, the [...]

    2. Note: I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really wanted to like this book more. It had great potential, but I felt the interactions between the female characters were jumbled and I never really got the sense that the girls were truly good friends. I was so perturbed by Arden and her gambling and how her friends just allowed her to stay and gamble without saying, enough is enough, we're leaving with or without you. They just enabled her habit. I did enjoy [...]

    3. 1 starsTo sum it up, this book is boring. Might be the most boring book I read this year with characters that act like a bunch of teenager, can't feel the chemistry between h/H and boring story. I also skip some parts, because it's make me yawn.Molly (can't take a heroine seriously with that name. Always remind me of Molly Weasley from Harry Potter *shudder*) is a boring heroine, too much have "snow queen" archetype, try so hard to be "good girl gone bad", have a backbone in the first chapter, b [...]

    4. 2.5/3 out of 5 StarsThis story could have been so good. The premise was hot and sexy and I was so ready to start reading this one. I actually liked reading Cash’s point of view and his intentions which were not always good. I was not sure what to think about him at first but I loved that the author left that uncertainty. The heroine’s friends mostly annoyed me. They were everywhere. Molly is a 30 year old woman. Does she need to constantly be by her friends? I understand they were on a trip, [...]

    5. There is no way to describe Cash except for the fact I loved him, "he lowered the bra, then leaned his arm on the back of the seat again, close to her, letting the lingerie dangle from his fingers. "So tell me, Molly," he said, his eyes gleaming, "how much for your panties?" He's an impatient man, "take off the effing bedcovers and get on the bed, Molly." His tone was frayed. God knew how much worse it was going to get if she kept trying to blue-ball him." I loved the moments they had after naug [...]

    6. openbooksociety/article/roBrought to you by OBS reviewer Marianthirough-and-tumble-crystal-greenMolly P. Preston is universally known as the “Ice Queen” in both her business and personal life. Molly, an accountant, is used to being the responsible one of her family. Orphaned and still taking care of her older sister (the artist), Molly is the good girl that takes care of everyone but herself. However, after being sexually harassed by her boss, Molly decides to cash in her vacation until the [...]

    7. 4.5 StarsCrystal Green introduces a deeply emotional contemporary romance series with Rough and Tumble. Punctuated by blistering-hot sex scenes and fascinating glimpses into the tough world of motorcycle bars, this romance also delivers true heart and emotion, and a story that will stay with the reader long after the final page is turned.Molly P. Preston is so easy to relate to. Career girl, always doing the right thing…go to work, come home, do the right thing always, never deviating…”Mis [...]

    8. Slick‘s review posted on Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews3 STARSI don’t know where to start with this review because honestly the book was kind of a train wreck yet the main characters were so damn charismatic that I couldn’t stop reading even though at times I wanted to. The plot was just kind of a jumbled mess with tangents going every which way some of which were never completely dealt with, the dialog was at times wooden and laughable but at other times completely normal, and the “love [...]

    9. Reviewed for Confessions From RomaholicsRough and Tumble was interesting to the start of series and I loved the characters but I wonder about the story. It starts of with a simple plot, Molly has just left her work in a mess. Sexually harassed by her boss she escapes barely and knows she needs to find a new job pronto. She always been by the books kind girl and she has to have her life in order so this has thrown her for a spin. So her girlfriends decide to escape to Vegas for a little while so [...]

    10. I really liked this book and the start of the Rough and Tumble series. What tipped it from a 4 start rating to a 3 star was Molly's friends - Arden and Sofia. At first I really liked Sofia and wanted to see if she had more of a story line (with that douche-y ex-boyfriend), but then her overprotective stubbornness went beyond endearing. Her other friend - Arden - was beyond annoying. Her character alone is what made me not enjoy this book. Any time she was on the page I started to skim. I can't e [...]

    11. This is my first read from Crystal Green & I am head over heels with these characters from Rough & Tumble. They are so easy to connect to and get drawn to. Even the crusty & less-desirable characters get their hooks into you before the end of the books. This book was steamy, sexy, humorous, good girl meets naughty boy kinda reading. It had great flow to it and before I knew it, the book was done and wanted to start the next in the series.Molly is the kind of girl that lives her life [...]

    12. rough & tumble book 1 in the series by Crystal Green ***Review Copy from author***Molly Preston worked until recently as a accountant. That is until her boss faked her making a mistake in the millions. He told her he would forgive her "mistake" if she slept with him. Her answer? Molly ored ice water on his lap and walked out.Arden & Sofie, Molly's best friends decide to go to Vegas to have fun and help Molly feel better. While there the ladies come across a place called Rough and Tumble a [...]

    13. I not sure that it is correct to say that I liked Rough and Tumble. It’s more like I couldn't help myself but had to keep reading it. All the while, Sophia was on one shoulder saying, “No Molly, don’t go off with Cash!” while Arden was on my other shoulder saying, “Go for it Molly, live a little!” I was somewhere in between on how I felt about what she should do. Most of the time in a romance, I know they will be a happy ending, but Crystal Green really kept me guessing with this one [...]

    14. Molly loses her job after her creepy boss creates a costly mistake in her accounting and then offers to forgive her if she has sex with him. Tired of his constant lechery, she pours ice water on his lap and walks out. Her girlfriends decide to take her to Vegas to get her mind of the job situation and they end up at the biker bar Rough and Tumble. Molly's friend Arden, who has a gambling problem, loses at Poker to Cash who has been flirting with Molly across the bar earlier in the evening. When [...]

    15. Received a copy from Netgalley and really pleased that I did. This is one of those good girl falls for the bad guy sort of stories but ultimately Cash is just rough around the edges and needs the right person to smooth him out. Molly and her friends are trying to loosen up and get their mojo back in Vegas. To help the girls out of a couple of tough situations Cash propositions Molly but it's not as bad as she thinks. Cash and Molly have their own issues to work out and one night turns into a roa [...]

    16. ***Received via NETGALLEY in exchange for honest review***Absolutely loved this book! What an amazing read! The only problem I had with the story was the character of Sofia. Her attitude stank towards Molly the whole way throughke she was playing mum? I can understand the concern with Arden.Cash, wow, another Alpha Male I can add to my book boyfriends listhe's smokin hot, with a rugged edge and a distant attitude, yet pushy and fun all at one. He's the master of contradictions, but an amazing cha [...]

    17. Rough and Tumble by Crystal Green wp/p3d0RZ-1vtPublication Date: July 15, 2014Reviewed by: Reading In Pajamas/ Donna Rated: 3.5 StarsREVIEW:I really enjoyed the author’s writing style and how she brought the characters to life. Molly and Cash seemed polar opposites yet you soon realize that they are more alike than even they know. At times I got a little frustrated with them both and questioned their actions, especially with Molly. She seemed to be too much of an enabler while trying to come a [...]

    19. Thanks to a freebie ARC from the author and NetGalley, I was able to check out Rough and Tumble before it goes on sale. What a steal! And considering what fun it was to read it, I say it was a double steal! ;) While I didn't always think the character interaction was completely believable, I found this story to be well written and entertaining. There were a couple of times I thought the dynamic seemed a littler forced or ingenuine, but these parts were minor enough that it was easy to overlook t [...]

    20. Well, that escalated quickly. Well, it seemed to anyway. The pacing on this passionate novel is fast and furious. Crystal Green has given readers a very likeable lead couple, and I was rooting for the inevitable early on. The secondary characters were quirky and interesting as well. I understand that this is the first in a series, the stage has been set well for the future, but I could have used a bit less of the secondary characters and more time with the leads. I thoroughly enjoyed the ups and [...]

    21. Copy courtesy of NrtgallleyI was attracted to the story description. It took most if the book for me to like the characters. Cash and Molly made an interesting pair. She is a very proper accountant and he is a rough around the edges card shark. Molly takes a walk on the wild side pretty close to the end of the book and goes off with Cash. That to me was the beginning if the relationship. They actually talked and got to know each other. I didn't really like Molly's friends. Arden was dangerous an [...]

    22. Received an ARC copy from Netgalley for a honest review. I really enjoyed this book and the way it was written. Storyline was hot, entertaining and had lots of drama. After being harassed sexual at work, Molly and a couple friends head to Vegas for a little fun, one of those what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. There she meets Cash, a hot and sexy professional gambler and a player looking for the next thrill. Cash takes Molly on a journey outside her normal comfort zone. Loved Molly and Cash's [...]

    23. Received from NetgalleyI found this book a bit hard to get into at first but when I didwow! I loved it and I love Cash. I really enjoyed the relationship between Cash and Molly P. Such opposites shouldn't attract but when they do, you get the kind of heat these two have. I didn't like Sofia at all, she didn't seem to be a supportive friend and to be honest, she didn't need to be in the book, I had assumed there would be some sort to backstory with her and Her ex boyfriend but there wasn't. Overa [...]

    24. This is a bad boy/ good girl love story. And while I enjoyed the story it took me a bit to get there. I had problems with Molly not going off on Arden when she gets put in the position of paying off her debt. But as Molly and Cash grew closer I started to like her more. As Molly loosens up so does Cash but in a different way and when they come together in the end well all I can say is *le sigh*.Received via NETGALLEY in exchange for honest review

    25. A copy was provided by the Netgalley for an honest review. This was a middle of the road read for me. The POV was sadly underwhelming. Cash was underdeveloped considering he was the most interesting part of the cast. I was expecting more of a story line around the R&T bar with less girl vacay gone wrong drama. My unmet expectations aside, the road trip was my favorite part of their little adventure. This is a fun/quick read if you are not looking for a deep story.

    26. That was HOT, SEXY and STEAMY!And who doesn't just love a BAD BOY story? lolThe story was well told which allowed me to read it in just one sitting. The characters were well developed and had fun with each other. This is gonna make an excellent series. Can't wait for the next installment!Thank you NetGalley for introducing me to another great author!

    27. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. This was an amazing read! The main characters were relatable and likeable. This is looking to be a great series and I can't wait for book 2!
