    1. When I opened this book I did not know what to expect ,but when I started to read Nightwalkers I completed it in one sitting, there was no dead space in this book, no need to skip a page, I felt if I looked away from my book I would miss something ,so I did not put it down and the suspense was lovely. Abigail is like no character I have ever read about, if you are not into vampires this is the story for you because Abigail is more than that we perceive a vampire to be. I liked the historical asp [...]

    2. Wow, Christopher Bynum is a good writer. That may be too temperate a compliment since in the last 24 hours when I wasn't asleep, his latest book kept me glued to my Kindle or wishing I was glued to it. I freely admit I had some very high anticipation for this book by Mr. Bynum, a.k.a. The Black, because it is such a departure from the kind of book he usually writes AND also because I've recently come to realize that I take no small pleasure in things that scare me a little. Over the years my boo [...]

    3. Review by APB Perspective Book ReviewI rated this book 5 stars because Nightwalkers Book One: Night Child is full of drama and mystery. And that's a great combination. I've read my fair share of vampire books and this novel kept me engaged and wanting to know what would happen next. Nightwalkers centers around a slave named Henry and a young vampire girl living in the woods. Nightwalker is a great opening book to the series and lays down the ground work for the next book. This book is not to sex [...]

    4. Mr. Bynum has introduced paranormal in other works, so this book fit right in. I enjoyed reading about Henry and a different perspective of the existence of vampires. Although Henry is a freed slave, he still hasn't had the desire to leave the plantation until something traumatic happens. I enjoyed reading this story and watching Henry deny what was right in front of him. I was a little nervous about Abigail and her attachment to Henry. Something tells me that Henry left something behind when he [...]

    5. I enjoyed this story so much! It was original and the voice was with the era. There were a couple things I didn't understand, but I'm looking forward to the second book possibly explaining it.
