    1. Terrific finale to the Calamity Janes series! After two failed marriages, 28-year-old Lauren Winters feels like a failure, in spite of a red-hot acting career in a string of blockbuster romantic comedies and an Academy Award nomination. Needing to get her head back on straight, she escapes to her birthplace of Winding River, Wyoming, to visit friends and family.Almost the moment Lauren arrives back at her home ranch in Wyoming, she butts heads with arrogant horse wrangler, Wade Owens. Wade didn't [...]

    2. This was my favorite out of the series I think. I liked that it took place a little after the others so it wasn't quite as confusing reading different books that all took place at the same time, not as much repeating as the others either. I didn't like that Lauren didn't tell Wade who she was but other than that it was just a nice read and fun to see where the other characters were after they had been married a bit.

    3. This was a very predictable book. I saw It coming from the beginning. It was however a very sweet book. Now and then a chicklit, and a hanky-panky romance can sometimes be good in between the novels, detective and murder books and the psychological thrillers. I certainly am glad that Lauren gave up fame and fortune for the man of her dreams.

    4. I picked this book up from a "Little Library" in a state park in Florida. It's not really the style I normally read, but it was easy to pick up and enjoyable, if not simple. It's part of a book series called the "Calamity Janes" about a group of high school friends in Wyoming that are always there for each other, no matter the distance. The books don't need to be read in order, as this is the first book I have ever read from Sherryl Woods, and you can read along just fine without having read the [...]

    5. The is the final book of the Calamity Janes: Lauren by Sherryl Woods. Lauren has it all. She is a mega star in Hollywood and has all the fame and fortune she could want. But she feels that something is missing. She is not happy. She has been married twice; each time to a man who was using her to get where and what he wanted. She has been going home to Winding River more and more to visit her friends the Calamity Janes. On a visit with Karen, one of the Calamity Janes, made her look inside hersel [...]

    6. Good read. the old question "for love or for money" spins its way throughout the pages of this fast read by Sherryl Woods. Frustrated with the trappings of Hollywood fame, Lauren moves back to Wyoming to work on her friend's horse ranch. There she meets Wade the wrangler and sparks fly almost immediately. But, running from past hurt, Wade has a loathing for anyone with money and riches. Can she convince him that he is what she needs before her past in Hollywood catches up with her?

    7. Sherryl Woods is an automatic buy if I need something to read right at the moment. This book was really good right up at the top with the others I have read. It involves a horse ranch which is always a hit as there are a lot of readers who enjoy horses and stories about them. This was a hit right up the line for me.

    8. I loved the Calamity Janes and I was so looking forward to Lauren's story. I am so disappointed. Wade was just a jerk - judgemental, rude, biased, and unlikable. I just don't see why this was the was he was written. So much of a letdown after the others - books and men.

    9. I try not to mock serial romances because occasionally the urge hits me for a good cowboy story. Then I read this one and fell more in love with the Calamity Janes and their undying friendship than I did with the primary love story. Now I'll probably have to read all 5 of the books in the series

    10. Great charactersGreat characters and it was fun catching up on the characters from previous books. The story is good and I do love a happy ending.

    11. Great story as always from Sherryl Woods!! Read about true friendships, new beginnings and the power to change.
