    1. I was given ARC by this author. Let me just start out by saying that I don't think I've really read erotica novels before so I didn't have anything to compare. I've read Fifty Shades of course, but this one was much different. This is a novella so it was a very quick read. I have to say that I really enjoyed the author's writing style. It's witty, raw, and she holds nothing back. There are parts in the book that had me laughing. Even the title is catchy to me. And truly it's admirable to find an [...]

    2. Mum's gay and Dad's a lesbian by A.G. Chambers is an unusual tale that lured me right in. A short story that breezes through that had me laughing to myself during some of the clever scenes.Good writing and fast paced makes this a fun little story to get absorbed into. I found this to be a whimsical book that took me right in and held me captive for the short time it took me to read it. Only one sitting but it was full pleasure. Oddly enough, it was sort of sweet. In a sour kind of a way.Quote ~" [...]

    3. Mum's gay and Dad's a lesbian at first doesn't sound like your typical book. And it's not! I laughed so hard within the first couple chapters, I thought I'd broken a rib. The book is a humorous look at the tale of love, finding one's way, and all the stumbles that go with it. AG Chambers did a fantastic job crafting each character. The story was easy to follow and extremely well-written. I could see each scene play out in my mind as if it was on a movie screen. Jenny's character is easy to relat [...]

    4. Quirky tale of a woman not yet fully matured and trying to figure out her sexuality and "self"Jenny is a character, in every sense of the word. After being unceremoniously dumped, she thinks the greatest revenge is to loosen up and get through men, like butter. Sleeping around is not all it's cracked up to be, however, and along the way she finds out that what she thought would be a fulfilling experience of liberation, is actually a snake pit of hit and misses that leave her perplexed, and sligh [...]

    5. This book had me remembering what it was like to sit around with my girlfriends, 10 years ago, and gossip about boys and the crazy things we did. Back when you were living life without a care in the world, stumbling into your dead end job, and waiting for the clock to strike 5 so you could do it all over again. I laughed during every page, and fought to put the book down. It's a dirty read, so beware of the soccer mom sitting next to you on the subway when you fire it up on your kindle. I hope t [...]

    6. I'm a huge fan of A.G. Chambers's Jaded series so when finding out the author had taken a leap to completely different genre made me curious to say the least. And oh, what a fun ride did she deliver! Mum's gay and Dad's a lesbian made me laugh hysterically at places. I found the story being quite realistic and reflecting things and feelings a young girl might go through once trying to clarify her own sexuality whilst growing up.This definitely is a fast, must read for adults!

    7. The second I was told Sex in the city meets Bridget Jone's I new I wanted to read this book. I'm so glad I did, it's so FUNNY!! And so relatable to real life. It's about a young girl, Jenny trying to find her sexuality after being heart broken. There were time I thought "Oh I've been there". I love the friendship between Jenny, Natasha & Bret. This is a fast pace read that will keep you smiling.

    8. Received a complimentary copy for an honest review. This is a quick & short laugh your ass off kind of read. I couldn't stop laughing right from the beginning. Had some of the funniest lines in a book I've read in a while. Great job AG Chambers!

    9. Hmmmm?I'm not 100% sure what that was. I don't think the title really goes with the book's content. I'll leave it up to you to figure it out. It was free and I did laugh a few times but that's it.

    10. What can I say? It was a very enjoyable read and I couldn't always stop myself from smiling big time.Jenny and her life are way too interesting and funny to stay distant, so yeah when I read the book I let myself go and even though I now have a very rough time it still brinsg a smile to my face. The only sad thing is that it was so short, but thats probably because I am not the biggest fans of short stories, well at least not when I enjoy a book :)BUT I would highly recommend it to everyone who w [...]

    11. Chambers gave me a copy of this book to read if I was interested. I will admit that this is not really my genre. Like, at all. But this is hilarious. It had me in stitches. I really liked the main character and the side characters, too.I was a bit shocked with the fact that title really had nothing to do with the book. But I certainly wasn't disappointed with what I read. I really needed the laugh too. I read this in one sitting.I recommend it to anyone looking for an easy going read, but only if [...]

    12. Hilarious! This delightful short-ish story about a young woman’s perceived antidote to a broken heart will leave you in stitches. She decides that in order for her broken heart to mend she must get out some more. So she does. Oh, so funny, yet poignant in parts. Right through to the pineapple. From there, you’ll just be hoping there is more, but no… From one Kiwi chick to another, well done!
