    1. Reviewed for herding cats & burning soup.Nom nom nom. So. I have a thing for the Santa Fe Bobcats. The guys are freaking lick.a.ble. The heroines spirited and lively. *reader girl sigh* Best combo ever.Sooo Romancing the Running Back. The quick of it is that Anya has come to town to help her best friend with planning her wedding. And the best man? He'll suffer through having to work with her but he's so not on board with a bridesmaid he considers shallow since she's a fashion consultant. He' [...]

    2. I love this series! Each time I read a new title in this series I find a new favorite—and this time was no exception!Anya Fisher is at a crossroads in her life and jumps on the chance to relocate and take serious steps towards her changing career goals. Helping to coordinate her best friend’s wedding is the perfect opportunity for new beginnings and feeds right into her strengths. Josiah Walker is the best man so must work closely with the maid of honor to make sure things go off without a hi [...]

    3. I read the first three books in this series back to back. I liked the first book, One Night with a Quarterback best and liked this novel second best. The hero is, again, so winning. The heroine was a little harder for me to love although she's not at all annoying. I'll definitely read the next book--I'm now a fan of this series.

    4. Anya Fisher is Cassie's fashionista best friend who has just come to town to help Cassie and Trey (One Night with a Quarterback)plan their perfect wedding. But her future plans are a bit up in the air. Josiah is one of Trey's team mates on the Santa Fe Bobcats. They meet, irritate, confuse, and misunderstand each otherbut there is an underlying attraction. He is a practical environmentalist. She is a personal shopper and fashion consultant. He is intelligent, serious, and moody. She's smart, sav [...]

    5. Let me start off by saying I am totally loving this series! Anya is looking to branch out on her own and her ex won't give her the divorce she has been asking for so when her friend needs help planning her wedding she heads to Santa Fe. Anya isn't looking for love but when she is paired with the best man things start to look up. I really liked Anya and Josiah. They didn't start out on good terms but I thought there banter and snarky comments were a version of foreplay. After a few meeting with e [...]

    6. 3 Fashionista and the tree hugger stars! Source: eARC for Honest Review Courtesy of Intermix | Penguin GroupI have such a soft spot for sports romance and this series fits the bill in sweetness and sports.  This time around we have Josiah the tree hugger and Anya the fashionista.  These two are the most unlikely pair but seem to work.  Even though this is part of a series, Jeanette has done a great job that you could read it as a standalone.  Of course it's always better when you have the f [...]

    8. This review was originally posted on Cocktails and BooksThis is not my first book my Ms. Murray, but it is the first book in the Santa Fe Bobcats series that I’ve read and I really enjoyed it. Even though Romancing the Running Back is the 4th in a series, it is easy to read on its own.In Romancing the Running Back, we follow Anya and Josiah as they move from antagonism, to friends, to lovers while they help their friends plan a wedding. Anya has several other things going on that prompted her [...]

    9. 4.5 starsI love this series, Jeanette Murray writes a fantastic sports romance. I loved both characters in this but I especially appreciated Josiah's character because it was nice to see a sports players that wasn't a player or a horribly arrogant ass (and she doesn't write characters like that in this series) and Josiah's was also different because of his eco friendly approach to life - I don't think I've read a romance book with the male lead like this one so he stands out. I also liked Anya a [...]

    10. Started strong but fizzled near the ending. And who has a bachelor/bachelorette party before setting a wedding date???

    13. My Review:This book starts off with a great premise. Anya has come to Santa Fe to help her friend, Cassie (heroine from book #1) prep for her upcoming wedding. In truth, Anya is running. She has an almost-ex husband who's become a thorn in her side. He's refusing to let her go although she's been trying to get a divorce for over two years. Josiah is the running back for the Bobcat's. From the moment he meets Anya, sparks fly, but they aren't necessarily the good kind. Josiah may be a player for [...]

    14. Cute story, but wanted moreI enjoyed this book for the most part and am a fan of sports romances. I would have liked more football to the story, but alas there was not. I have to say that towards the end Anya’s character was starting to bug me – she was insecure and not up front about things that she should have been. It was hard to continue to root for her when the same theme was repeating itself. She had so many opportunities handed to her – it was frustrating to see her hesitation over [...]

    15. **You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: bookbriefs**Romancing the Running Back is the fourth book in the Santa Fe Bobcats series. The Santa Fe Bobcats series is an adult sports romance series about a professional football team. I have not read the first three books in the series, but I thought this one was the perfect one for me to jump into the series with, because it was the wedding (planning) for the couple from the first book, Cassie and Trey. We get to see the couple from th [...]

    16. This series has got to be one of my favorites. At least when it comes to Adult and Football. There’s always humor, heat and best of all, love. I wish the Santa Fe Bobcats were real because they are just such great guys and I love everything about them. (Let’s just not tell my boys, the Baltimore Ravens, I have a strong love for another team, okay?) Anya and Josiah. What can’t I say about these two? They get off on the wrong foot, he thinks she’s too shallow, and she thinks he’s too ser [...]

    17. This book is one of those cases where I wish you could give 1/2 stars here. It's a firm step above a lot of books that I've rated a 3, but not quite a solid 4.I almost re-read the book that precedes it in the Bobcats series, but decided I had read it recently enough and was anxious to dive into this one. Once I got into it I wished I had re-read it because the narratives overlap a bit and the details of Stephen and Mags' love story escaped me. It didn't detract from my enjoyment of this story, b [...]

    18. Really good! Another great story in the Santa Fe Bobcats series. I wasn't to sure that I'd like Josiah in the beginning because he was so arrogant, but after a couple of sparring rounds with Anya I grew to like him. Anya's character was a hoot, shew always had a quick retort for Josiah. I really enjoyed when he had to chauffeur her around for all of Trey & Cassie's wedding preparation, especially when they where in the adult store for naughty items for the bachelor/bachelorette party. But li [...]

    19. I think I have said this before but if you are not into sports like me, you will still enjoy this series. The focus is more on the relationships of the players than it is on football game itself. Romancing the Running Back is excellent in that the player is a great guy, not a bad boy needing to be saved. I really like Josiah even though he is a bit rigid in his ideas in the beginning. Anya has more issues that make a good contrast to the wedding party events where these two meet. The development [...]

    20. I was excited to get Josiah's and Anya's book. I have been wanting to find out more about Josiah since the first book in this series. Anya was more than just a pretty face and she had big dreams. She was being tormented by her husband, whom she'd been separated from for 2 years, who wouldn't grant her a divorce. He kept dragging out the process by finding new things to fight over. Anya fled to Santa Fe under the guise of helping Cassie with her wedding but she had plans to stay. Josiah was chose [...]

    21. I will be honest when I started this book, having read the previous books in the series, I expected Josiah to be gentle I guess is the right word. and at the beginning of this story I did not like him very much, I even wrote the author a FB post about it cause I was frustrated! She said hang in there, and I did and I am so glad,, it seems there is a purpose, and apparently authors have their own story lines which, miraculously enough, are not only better than the ones in my head but a lot more f [...]

    22. Excellent read! This is the fourth book in the Santa Fe Bobcats series but it is easily read stand alone. It has great characters and a fantastic story that grabs you from the beginning and holds on till the last page. Anya Fisher has spent the last two years trying to make her ex-husband officially her ex but in his usual controlling fashion he refuses to sign the divorce papers. Now she has an opportunity to start over in Santa Fe and she's determined to take it. The last thing she is looking [...]

    23. Couldn’t put it down! I loved reading about Anya and Josiah. I read about Anya in the first book of the series, ‘One Night with a Quarterback’, and hoped Jeanette would write about her. She did!! Yea! And with a sexy quarterback, Josiah. The story starts out with some conflict between Anya and Josiah but quickly turns. The growth for each character in this book is fun to watch. Another touchdown for Jeanette Murray! For those who are not into football, not to worry. Although the characters [...]

    24. ARC provided by NetGalley.I'm a sucker for heros that are athletes (mainly football and hockey players). This one couldn't be different. Josiah is a great character. He's not very likable at first, which makes me feel like he is more real than those oh so perfect guys we see in some books. We all have flaws, even if they're about being eco-friendly. I wish I could read about Anya and Josiah's wedding and then having "mini eco-nut fashionistas"

    25. Loved this bookHave read every book I can find from this author! She never has failed my expectations. She surpasses them every time. I love the flow and feel of her writing. I can truly place myself as the character. Definitely recommend
