    1. I fell in love with Sandra Boynton's distinctive drawings and off-beat sense of humor a long time ago, and she is still one of my favorite--and most talented!--humorists.If you love Latin, Gregorian chant (heck, even if you *don't* like Gregorian chant--you will after this!), humor, and especially Sandra Boynton's humor, you'll love this combination CD and book (well, the book has the lyrics, in, of course, pig Latin). Ighly-hay, ihgly-hay, ighly-hay eocomended-ray! ;) Also see Sandra's site at [...]

    2. This book and CD combo is absolutely brilliant. Picture "Old MacDonald" sung by Gregorian monks. Yes, you've got it. In order to truly appreciate this experience, sit down with the lyrics and just prepare to laugh your head off. This is one of the best children's books purchases I've ever made, but it wasn't for my children, it was for my husband and me!

    3. Grunt is an odd, quirky little book. It gives the history of the pigorian chants along with the lyrics to the barnyard songs that can be read concurrently with the included CD. I found this books somewhat amusing, but overall rather juvenile and dull.

    4. Love this book. I always love Sandra Boynton's art. And the parodies of Gregorian chant by the swine in their "native language"is hysterically funny.

    5. This is great listening (for those who enjoy gregorian chants) and hilarious (must read the lyrics).

    6. Pig latin and latin with a cd included. Not being familiar with real latinI have a feeling the latin sections are the equivalent of pig-latin to English. A cute gem of a book about farm animals.

    7. What's not to love about Sandra Boynton!? And for the serious music afficianado Gregorian chant in pig-latin. I have lusted after this for years and finally found a copy.
