    2. 3.5 starsI read this one several days ago -- don't know why I forget to write down my opinion. Anyway, this third installment of Linden's D.C. Files series featured a couple whose relationship had been in the making since book #2 Sam's personal assistant, Stevie Callan, and British reporter Will Newbrough. They had been doing the flirting do-they-don't-they for a while, it had become a source of entertainment as well as not-so-secret bet at the office. Clearly Stevie and Will had the chemistry [...]

    3. As always, keep in mind that I know Megan Linden ;)Press & Hold is the third volume in the D.C. Files series, and so once again what we have here is a romance that uses the backdrop of politics (with Sam's [DC Files #1 Sam's] assistant being one party to the romance and an intrepid, honourable reporter being the other) to heighten the stakes and create a plotline; however, the political plot mostly takes a backseat to the personal one when illness in the family threatens to tear the heroes a [...]
