    1. I wrote Femdom Kismet (originally published as Uncharted Territory) in part to offer readers a more reality-based view of female-led relationships. At its core it is a kismet-themed story that chronicles the entrée of the main characters into the BDSM lifestyle and the paths that led them to each other. This is not an angst filled tale with lots of drama; it is simply a love story with ample amounts of hot D/s action. If you’re a kinky romantic, you’ll probably enjoy it. And for all you nau [...]

Lyon Series/Book #---Length# of pages A taste (Up to 99 pages)PriceFree in exchange for honest review Genre/subgenreErotica/ BDSM, femdom Review may contain spoilers, read with caution; Read tags for other contentThe opening chapter to this erotic femdom novel leads me to believe this will not be typical. My overall exposure to fictional femdom is limited and I am glad there are authors like Jim Lyon that has a vision beyond fantasy. Lisa is a lesbi [...]

    4. provided by the Author through BDSM group TPE BAR Read2Review Well, I didn't care for this book/short story very much. It fell short of my expectations by far. Character development was fair by far with the character reading flat. Matt goes from average guy to sub after being tapped once seems far fetched. His reaction to his discovery was also far fetched, no shock, no denial. Just blanent acceptance, like " oh this is meok" and merrily skips along. Samantha reads with a little more heart. Her [...]

    5. Uncharted territory is a very economical 48 pages. It could easily have been three times as long. The dialogue was smart and realistic and the action was vivid and well-paced, but I wanted to know much more about what the main characters were thinking and feeling. What made Samantha and Matt into the people they are? Neither one of them seems to have internalized society’s mores, or gender roles. They don’t question their unorthodox desires. Matt is totally machismo-free. He’s not in the l [...]

    6. This is a 2.5 rating for me. It is more than okay but not enough to say I enjoyed it. I'm always on the search for a good Femdom book. While I enjoy the cruel sadistic Domme, a more realistic complex one is what I'm truly striving to find. In Uncharted Territory, Samantha is realistic as a character. The male submissive she finds is rather unrealistic. And this is what kills the story for me.This story is easy to follow and flows well. The journey is a rosy coloured fantasy of a male finding his [...]

    7. A straight guy and his lesbian roommate (not the only improbable in this story) embark on a friends-with-benefits relationship (here's another one), and our hero discovers something about himself--he enjoys serving women. As in, serving their sexual needs to dominate. This opens the door to a wide range of kinks, all of them eye-opening to this relatively vanilla reader. He's lucky in that his friend-with-benefits and her kinky lover take him on as an apprentice to teach him the ropes (yes, that [...]

    8. "3.5 / 4 Stars"This is not my first BDSM book but it was my first in which the male is the sub to a Dom female. I really enjoyed the relationship between Matt and his friend Lisa. There were a lot of first for me with this book. Having a lesbian ask for a f* *k buddy relationship was a first but it brought out this side to Matt he probably never would have thought to try for himself. Oh dear when he got the pierces… I was like what the? And he didn’t even FLINCH!! Dang he sure has some big [...]

    9. I really enjoyed the sub/dom twist in this story. The action starts right away and continues throughout.

    10. Kinky with a side of sweet. This book had the perfect amount of kink, add in a side of sweet and it's a perfect fit. This book outlines the sexual exploration of a straight male as he discovers his sexual proclivities. It's well written and definitely a must read.

    11. I received this book in exchange for an unbiased review.I liked it. I did not love it, and I certainly did not hate it. As with all of my reviews, this follows a list format: Positive, negative, plot, character, summation. As always, I endeavor to avoid spoilers, even when I talk about events in the story.Positive: I certainly enjoyed the overall story. It was plausible, pleasant, and a very fast read (48 pages in pdf format). So it has certain commonalities with the "free books" one can get fro [...]

    12. Reviewed for my websiteMost authors of BDSM erotica aren’t too concerned with issues of authenticity and verisimilitude. Quite the opposite, in fact: 50 Shades of Angst slapped together with some bungling stabs at pathology and a “love conquers our kinks” ending. This is not the case with Jim Lyon’s Uncharted Territory, which goes to great pains (no pun intended) to give us a more accurate representation of the BDSM community. His narrative is punctuated with moments of procedure and neg [...]

    13. I am new to erotica reading so I was quite fascinated with this tale of feminine domination of a male in anything other than a straight domestic situation. This book is a good example of how life's circumstances can lead us into discovering who we are sexually as the two main characters Matt and Samantha come together after having discovered their our sexual "selves" through different journeys. A very easy read - my only criticism is that I was enjoying it so much it ended too quickly!
