    1. Meh. Quite a lot could have been cut from this book, especially all the lesbian stuff. I don't have a moral objection to it, it's just that EVERY female character save Andrea/Twilight are constantly boinking other women -- ALL. THE. TIME. If it was one or two characters, ok, fine, but it's Cygnus, June, Svetilo, Huntress, Skadi, Zoe, Elaine, etc, etc. It degrades what would have been a great story into bad porn written by someone that lives in their fantasies. The irony is, the female characters [...]

    2. This isn’t a bad story and I always I enjoy reading about Cygnus, June, Twilight, Minx etc. Unfortunately this book brought all my irritations with this series to a head. One of my pet hates is heroes/heroines who don’t complete the job. When they decide to be all righteous and leave the murderous evil villain alive instead finishing then off when they had the chance. You just know the baddie will come back to cause problems. In the previous book I commented that I was a little irritated by Tw [...]

    3. Niall Teasdale has a neat series set in a world of super heroes and villains where New York was destroyed by a supper villain with a volcano. Penny Worthington is a secretary in New Millennium City She is Ugly (ebook) enough to work in the basement handling the hardest typing jobs when she is hit by a ball of light and turns into a powerful ultra human. When registering her powers she calls her new form Cygnus, and finds she can turn back into Penny. She teamed with Twilight, a girl who could te [...]

    4. Author did it again! The story unfolded like a typical one from mister teasdale. Crime, murder, arson. We got the full package and ground work for the future books! Author left us with a big fat thing to expect for the following adventures of Cygnus, Twi and co. I'll obviously read the next books, I recommend the series. One of the best of mister teasfale

    5. Better than it seemsThe novel ended pretty strong. But there were several scenes which wereatuitous. Amusing, but not moving any plot points forward. It started to feel like a lesbian porno written and directed by a guya teenager, more like. The various plots were interesting and moved well. I just got a little bored with the constant sex talk.

    6. Old enemies, new enemies, old allies, new allies, old enemies turning into new allies. What else can one wish from a superhero novel?Unconditionally thumbs up.And I would never have guessed who the guy in the space suit on the cover might be

    7. Really love this series It's nice to have a super hero book that shows them having a life along with the fighting. Lots of ends being tied up, or prepared for the next book.

    8. Good bookThis is a good installment in the series. I enjoyed the series and the characters. I can't wait for the next one.
