    1. As indicated, this is intended for children who are moving. By presenting a pet as the character who is not digging the move and the child as the confident one, this is a nice "you can do it" story without hitting readers over the head with the thought. Anyone who fondly remembers a childhood cat sleeping on their bed might get a little misty eyed. :)
