    1. Fascinating, if a bit hard to follow, future noir. Aliens took over, aliens left. Now our heroes have to deal with the aftermath - specifically, the monster children bred to be half-alien, half-human. A lot happens in just four issues, both plotwise and visually. The lead character, a humble police officer/private detective, somehow ties into every major event of the alien departure and aftermath. But that's fine!     2. Solid and thoughtful science fiction featuring believable characters and plot, and absorbing politics; Trakhanov's art is absolutely wonderful - strange and organic and very expressive. I look forward to more.

    3. i was really tickled to enjoy this random solo volume. the drawing style throws me back to 80s-90s gross toxic avenger stylized dystopian era expressions. i liked how the creators were able to give me puzzling sci fi info but leave a clear enough amount of room for me to still follow along the plots path.
