    1. I'm gonna get ranty here, folks. I am personally affronted by the 5 star reviews for this book on . It's lies, all lies. Novel Love is ridiculously trite. We get entire chapters filled with Nate chatting with his coworker Vicki, but almost no interaction between the MCs. Their first date happens off page, yet the horrible date Nate has with a guy he met on a dating site goes on for pages and pages. That date goes so horribly wrong, it's like watching a bad sitcom. Other random shit that bugged m [...]

    2. *** Great novella to read near bedtime. I smiled as I fell asleep ! *** We have the "bookworm", sweet, Nate, who works at a bookstore; a romantic at heart. He just had a blind date that was a disaster. Then we have Jacob, a muscled construction worker, who has always been independent; his time is his own. Jacob's Mom brings him to get some books, where he meets Nate. The two have a connection immediately, and Jacob goes back and takes Nate for coffee. It's nearly love at first sight, as neither [...]

    3. True rating .5 stars.Oh man this was a bad one.1) The two protagonists don't even meet till about the 47% mark. 2)it is one of the worst cases of Insta-love I have ever read.3) the two female characters are down right awful and both so annoying especially Jacobs mom she was so bad I started just skimming over her parts.4) There is no character development at all, I know this is just a short story but hell there was nothing there.5) You have to read page after page of Nates awful date but then th [...]

    4. Another light romance reading by Harper Logan. This one is a mega instra-love story. Although the way their encounter came about was pretty cute. (view spoiler)[ Having a mom to match-make them together and all. (hide spoiler)] Short and rather cute and super romantic as usual.3.5 star

    5. I really enjoyed this cute story all the way up until the last line in the epilog. Then I was left with a what the heck feeling and did I miss how that was going to be possible, and there had better be a follow-up book because I'm pretty sure this book said it wasn't a cliffhanger but it sure felt like a cliffhanger to me. Otherwise, I thought it was a cute story that was well written, and I thought Jacob and Nate were adorable and I liked the instant love aspect of the book. I voluntarily revie [...]

    6. This tells the story of Nate a sales assistant in a book shop and a die hard romantic. He is desperate to find live and his workmate Vicki persuades him to sign up to a dating agency. It does not go well. He gives up on that idea and then his favourite customer arrives with her son Jacob in tow. Sparks fly between them but how will things play out between them? It's an ok short read with a happy ever after.

    7. This is yet another darling romance set in the fictitious Rosebridge the author has created. This book leaves you with a smile, as do all the author's books. Though the best quote ever HAS to be from Mary-Beth about her enjoyment of a book recommendation from Nate. "It was amazing. Just amazing. If I could eat words, I'd have exploded and died."

    8. Very romantic. This is a sweet romance. Very fast passed and low on the angst. I have to say it wasn't a favorite of mine. Not bad but didn't have the usual feel that the other books I've read by this author.

    9. Nope. I have heard rumors that computer programs are writing books and songs.I hope this is one of those efforts.

    10. Unacceptable in a novella for the MCs to meet at 38% - no sort of relationship building possible.

    11. I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of this book This was such a sweetly delightful, and beautifully written, romance between Nate and Jacob. I couldn't wait for Nate to meet Jacob after that horrible date he had with some jerk that he had met online (although, I enjoy that topic or premise). I don't want to say too much about it, but the characterization was excellent and I felt for the characters, especially Jacob's mother. I just loved her, and I would definitely recommend this boo [...]
