    1. “When she remembered a summer, it would be this one. When she remembered love, it would be his.” C. J. Carlyon, The Cherry HouseWe have Darcy and Elizabeth meeting much earlier in the P&P timeline. Elizabeth was only 18 years old. She and Mrs. Gardiner were in town and when a thief tried to steal Aunt Gardiner’s package, Elizabeth tried to stop him. When he pushed her down, Mr. Darcy happened to be nearby and chased him down. Elizabeth’s arm was broken in the fracas and Darcy escorte [...]

    2. A Middling EfforAbout 2.25-2.5 starsFor a reader pushing over the 150 book mark, I tend to back off written reviewsexcept"Mr. Darcy's Summer Love suffers from a weak plot, rudimentary narrative structure, and a number of unfortunate grammatical and proofreading errors. That is not to suggest that Ms Louise has not thoughtfully considered where she wanted the story to go. T'is just that once she got us there, we wondered why we went along for the ride.On top of that, there was little dramatic ten [...]

    3. Dear Anne, I didn't buy your book but borrowed it via Kindle Unlimited. Had I paid for it I would have returned it for a full refund. The book which you are selling on is amateurish and all but unreadable. Below I am linking to several, excellent. P&P FF books which you can read for free. I recommend you read them and then reread your book. /book/show/1 /book/show/1/book/show/1Hope this helps.A Reader

    4. Darcy and Elizabeth meet several years earlier than canon. There is no angst in their relationship but it read like a melodrama, with a Elizabeth who is the most inteligent person that Darcy has ever met and with no faults, just like the pleasant and lonely Darcy. It does need some proofreading but at least there was an evil Wickham. Two stars for reading to the end
