    1. A good read - his escape during second world war - how his art helped him in difficult times and strange dove come to sit on hus easel to watch him paint. Interesting read for artists.

Apart from escape from invaded Singapore in WW2, his ship being blown out of the water, nearly eaten by sharks, captured by the Japanesed yes it does tell of a crazy artistic career, like his work or not, it's proving to be a can't put down book.
