    1. Inverna Lockpez is director of the Catskill Center's Erpf Gallery. I'm getting to know her as together we plan a Catskills Poetry Festival for August, 2009. Meanwhile, I've savored her beautiful book, a collection of her paintings of barns together with fascinating essays about farming (past and present) in the western Catskills. The paintings are stunning. They have a rough grandeur in keeping with these surviving barns. I'm delighted to have this book.
