    1. This review is for the children's book Clifford Goes to Hollywood by Norman Bridwell. The one thing I learned from this book is that Clifford the Big Red Dog has been around since the early 1960s. That absolutely blew my mind. So Clifford had already been around for TWENTY years when this book was published. Crazy, right?I also learned that this book was later (2010) reprinted as Clifford is a Star. This book was really cute but not really all that educational. But that's okay because I mean it's [...]

    2. This book shows that being in the spotlight all the time can get tiring and it is just sometimes easier and more relaxing to just be with the people who love you most and that loved you before you were famous.Have children pretend to be hollywood superstars for a day and write a short story of how they would spend their day.

    3. I read this book to my son and he liked it okay. His main question seemed to be why Clifford couldn’t take all the money and toys with him when he went back to Emily Elizabeth. I think JT had a good point. If that was Clifford’s property and income then, he should have been able to cash out. Maybe it would have helped with his enormous grocery bill mentioned in other books.

    4. One of Norman Bridwell's Clifford books arranged in beginning reader format. (See Clifford Goes to Hollywood). Nicely done.

    5. Clifford really doesn't like being a movie star, he misses Emily. Yes, his doghouse in Hollywood has lots of stuff that he didn't have at home but it's lonely. The picture of him in the moving van is kind of strange, why put him into something that is too small.

    7. A nice easy reader for beginner readers, struggling readers, or those who just happen to love Clifford the Big Red dog.

    8. This was one of my 5-year-old's least favorite Clifford books. Normally, Clifford does some funny things but he really didn't in this book.
