    1. I was always interested in Sufism, because of Rumi, famous Persian poet, who lived in the 13th centaury and who is still one of the most popular poets in a modern world. This book was more about the insight into the Sufism as a spiritual branch of Islam, with the history of Muslim world from the time of its foundation to the spread of Sufism through the whole Muslim world as a group more interested with the inner development.     2. I learned a lot from this book. I had never realized how similar Sufism ideologies are to many Mormon teachings. I think Muslims and Mormons have a lot more in common than we seem to like to admit.The writing style was gorgeous and the information was easily acquired. I enjoyed the read and learned a lot in the process, both about Sufism and about spirituality in general.
