    1. A quick, light, fun read. I hadn't realized it was fairly short (side-effect of reading on Kindle), and was taken quite by surprise when I realized I'd reached the last chapter, when I was expecting the plot had several more twists yet to go.

    2. This is a hoot. Written in the 1890's, it was made into a silent film in 1926 starring Tom Mix and Tony the Horse. I've never seen the film, but the book reads just like a silent movie: you can just hear the piano.

    3. Good short story that feels like a person telling a story rather than an author having written one. Nothing over the top just a good mix of love, drama, mystery, and conflict in an old time western railroad setting. Good length for a rainy day.

    4. I very much enjoyed it. A good romp. Nothing too deep, but fun none the less. It's very much a guy's hero fantasy.
