    1. This little penguin loves bath time, so when mother turns on the bath water the penguin can’t wait to jump in the tub! But first, in go the penguin’s favorite boat and also a plastic porpoise and don’t forget the wind-up rubber shark or the inflatable inner tube snake! 2. If you want a short, amusing picture book from one of the best at the craft of simple storytelling, Bath Time is a good choice. The great illustrations by Janet Pedersen really form the heart of this story about a penguin who gets ready for bath time by putting nearly everything important that it owns into the tub, to the point of obvious and comical absurdity. When it comes time for the penguin to hop into the tub, there's nowhere left for it to fit! This is one of Eileen Spinelli's shorter boo [...]

    3. A cute story about everything that is needed for a bath (and some things that are not needed). This story is about a Penguin who loves bath time and decides that bath time is more like play time especially with all of his toys, treasures and bubbles. However, he puts so many things in the bath that he can't fit. I liked the comedy of filling the bathtub with tons of toys as well as the idea that bath time can be an extension of play time especially for kids who do not enjoy baths.

    4. Creative story for older toddler about imagination and creative fun at bath time. This presents an object and the correlation between water and objects, for child's cognitive development. The story ifs filled with colorful illustrations. Entice your "little ones" to enjoy their bath time by presenting this fun book. This is a good early reader book.

    5. A penguin prepares for bath time by overfilling the bath with toys for the bath. When she finally gets around to getting in the water, it's too full to fit her. The result is everything being removed so she can actually bathe. Fun story for younger readers.

    6. A penguin places so many play toys in her bathtub that there is no room for her. This book would be great for a child who does not like to take baths.Age: 1+Practice: Playing
