    1. I was pleased to discover the works of Ken Casper a number of months ago and am happy to report that I have never been disappointed with any of the novels he has written. Now he and two other authors have embarked on an ambitious writing project that will give each author one of the three books in the trilogy, an on-going murder mystery and the journeys of three young people back to the place where they found love and the sense of family that has stayed with them throughout their adult lives.Thi [...]

    4. rabck box from svoight 03/11; first in a trilogy about a murder mystery - who killed foster mother Franny? Her bones were unearthed on Jed's property during an archeological dig, so everything seems to be pointing to him. But Gwyn, who is leasing land from Jed is determined to prove the sheriff is wrong. In the end, nothing is resolved except for Gwyn and Jed marrying - and the story about the other two foster children, who were yanked from the home when Franny disappeared continues.

    5. This book was a good, relaxing read. Be prepared to have all 3 in this series though because the first one will make you go looking for the second to find out what happens. Luckily I found all three hiding on my bookshelf! Ready to dive into the second now. Good trilogy for a snowy winter weekend.

    6. I'm a sucker for Harlequin books. My grandmother got me into reading them and I've never looked back. I got caught up in this book as I do with most of them. Wonderfully written novel with mystery and romance combined. Two of my favorite things.

    7. This story is so rich that you will forget it's actually part of a series. It also got me hooked on this author's books.
